Blind spots of this analysis

• Copilot traffic over *.cloud.microsoft is exempt from TLS inspection by certificate pinning as of 2026-04-30 — this usage is not visible in network logs.
• AI features built directly into existing software — such as Copilot in Microsoft 365 or Gemini in Google Workspace — produce no independently identifiable network traffic.
• Usage via personal devices, home networks or mobile data (5G) runs outside the captured network paths and is not recorded.
• Network logs show which service was used — not what content was sent. This analysis makes no claim about prompt content.
